The SANTIAGO/WEISS CD Rhythmical Minds started as a friendly jam with just the two of us. I was told about Pupa through a cousin of mine and we realized we had a lot in common. After a few attempts of trying to schedule a jam, we finally got together at my rehearsal area and played. The chemistry was perfect! Edwin (Pupa) Santiago then mentioned that he has a recording studio and that we should get together there so we can record our jams. We did just that. We set up, pressed the record button and just started playing. No discussing tempo, style, form, etc...He then took those totally improvised sessions, added some extra tracks and viola, RHYTHMICAL MINDS was born.
